What is 10x Resume?
10x Resume is a collection of tools to help employment candidates create and share a pdf and work portfolio with other reviewers such as recruiters and hiring managers.
Candidates
10x Resume helps candidates
- create a pdf to share with a reviewer
- author a portfolio with content to be reviewed
- encrypt and upload the portfolio to a Userbase database
- register the database with 10x Resume
The pdf contains
- a short summary of the candidate and their background
- a link to the 10x Resume single page application and
- a password reviewers use to access the portfolio data
Candidates share the pdf with a reviewer using email, an applicant tracking system (ATS) or any method they choose. Reviewers review the pdf with a browser or pdf viewer.
The pdf should be short, concise and relevent to a position. In-depth details and background a candidate wants to share with the reviewer should be part of the portfolio.

Reviewers interested in the candidate may review the candidate’s portfolio by
- opening the link in the pdf
- entering the password from the pdf and accepting confidentiality conditions
- viewing the portfolio content in 10x Resume
The portfolio should introduce the candidate and explain
- the candidate’s background
- the position the candidate is interested in
- how the candidate’s background relates to the position’s requirements
- the candidate’s relevant experience
- the candidate’s relevant technical skills
The portfolio should also include RFD151︎ materials such as
- code samples
- writing samples
- analysis samples
- answers to questions regarding the candidate’s engineering values
Reviewers provide feedback to the candidate using their method of choice.

Candidates can review feedback and activity and upload a revised portfolio with additional data as the need arises.
